about
This EP showcases the first results of new collaboration between Manchester's Najia Bagi and Barcelona-based producer Tullis Rennie. Following an impromptu performance together in Barcelona, The Electronic Exchange wrote and recorded "together" over the past year, entirely via the web.

Their music is a melting pot of shared influences: abstract electronica with heavy, off-kilter rhythms and homespun “toolshed-dub” beats. Najia's soulful and uplifting vocal melodies tell dark urban-folklore murder-ballads. Another highlight is a guest appearance by Spanish MC Kitus.

The physical CD is a thing of beauty - a hand-stitched case printed on textured recycled card in a limited edition of 200 copies.
