The Electronic Exchange are Najia Bagi and Tullis Rennie. They write and produce electronic soul.
Tearful But Fearless is the first new material we've heard from the duo for a while. Since their headline tour at the beginning of the year (where they performed with a six-piece live band) they have been quietly recording their debut album, planned for release in 2013.
The new video was directed by Will Robinson (New Breed Films) and shot in a studio in Salford this summer. A hammer, a fish tank, a house plant, some balloons, an air gun and half a litre of Elmlea cream were all used in its creation. Nobody was harmed.
Formed in 2009, and consistently living in different cities to each other (Manchester, Barcelona, Belfast) the pair have so far released two EPs on Concrete Moniker.
